To use the appropriate endogenous controls, we must know the species from which your RNA was derived:

Preferred Control Gene:
Please selected your preferred control gene:

*Please provide this sequence below if you want us to design and synthesize the probe and primers for this endogenous control.

Test gene sequences and target coordinates

We will design RT-PCR probes and primers for you.  To avoid artifacts due to DNA contamination, the amplicon must span an intron, and the probe will straddle the intron/exon borders.  Therefore, please submit (below) only the cDNA sequence so that the appropriate primers and probes can be selected.  Note: if you work in a prokaryotic system, or for other reasons cannot provide intron/exon information in your target, you must be extremely careful to eliminate all DNA from your samples.  Please copy and paste your sequence below.  You must remove all non-transcribed sequence and all introns prior to submission of the sequence.

Sequence 1:

Name of Sequence 1:

Coordinates of sequence attributes:

To design appropriate primers and probes, the coding sequence and the locations of the introns are required.  Therefore, you must specify this information in the box below.  Also, please show the specific bases flanking these coordinates.

For example, for a cDNA in which the open reading frame starts at base 75 and ends at base 750, and that has introns between bases 122 and 123, 224 and 225, and 554 and 555, indicate:

ATG start codon; 75; GAC.ATGGAC
Intron 1; 122,123; GCG.ATC
Intron 2; 224,225; TCG.CGA
Intron 3; 554,555; ACT.TTG
Stop codon; 750; CAG.TAG

PLEASE NOTE, THESE COORDINATES MUST REFER TO THE SEQUENCE AS YOU HAVE COPIED IT, STARTING WITH BASE 1 AS THE FIRST BASE OF THE COPIED SEQUENCE. Please do not provide the locations on the genomic DNA.
